Morimoto
Chef Masaharu Morimoto is no joke. Armed with his high grade steel Hitkuri and Karin knives, Morimoto’s preparation is enough to make the competition start updating their resumes. You can taste his no nonsense approach to creating every dish in the eel avocado, yellowtail and negitoro rolls. In addition to the traditional sushi arrangement, there are over 30 variations of sushi and a cadre of soups, noodles and salads to compliment the main course. Chef Morimoto also shows his wizardry at the raw bar and with his creative appetizers such as the tuna pizza and kobe beef carpaccio. Morimoto’s elegant menu is only matched by the restaurant’s New York chic meets futuristic Japanese aesthetic. Would you expect anything less from the Iron Chef himself? Chelsea Wine Vault
No one made us fall in love with wine more than Paul Giamatti’s character Miles in the 2004 cult classic Sideways. It’s true. The middle-aged, balding Miles made Pinot Noir a household staple.
