Play Golf America
Spring is approaching and Play Golf America has already prepared a number of events that will make the great game a centerpiece for the season. The theme for April is simple: Consumer education. Seasoned players and new-comers alike are being targeted in their current campaign. pga believes that players of all skill levels need to know how to get fitted with the proper golf equipment and most importantly why the “right fit” matters so much in the first place. pga professionals will be present to provide a 15-minute club fitting session. Participants will likely look back upon that quarter of an hour as a defining moment in their development as serious golfers. Most will witness how, by paying attention to detail, they can improve on their ability to hit the ball farther and drop another shot off their scorecard. While only in its fourth full year of helping golf grow, Play Golf America has already had a major impact on the community. With free lessons and family participation incentives on the horizon, the comprehensive marketing campaign of the pga will assuredly bring many new faces into the game. Its message is a simple one: “Play golf, play more golf, and play better golf.”
