For the family, for the fellows, and for a fantastic time

A Word From the Publisher:
Reunion has a spectacular main house and the clubhouse is really nice. The staff was a amazing. The Legacy and Independence courses were tough and I can see why the Tour has a stop there. Some holes are extremely long, and there are some really tricky short holes that you would think just looking at the yardage you would want to take your driver out. But once you hit the driver, you think back and say, ‘I should have just left the driver in the bag.’ I played two of the three courses. The course that the Tour plays on I played from the tips and ended up with an 89, which I thought was pretty good bearing in mind that I’ve never played the course. I just had some amazing shots off of the tee.
All and all, Reunion is a great family destination. I went with my wife Ina, and my daughters. There was a great water park for kids and a nice pool area for for adults to eat and relax. The room was spectacular. We had a three bedroom suite with an amazing balcony where I could enjoy my cigars away from the family. It’s the type of place that you really don’t have to leave. We just left the property to sample some of the local restaurants. I found out that people actually own houses and apartments on the resort. Everybody was extremely friendly and everything was spotless.
The Reunion is also the type of place that you can take a bunch of guys and just have three days of non-stop golf, then go back to the room and chill or go out in the evening. You’re within 45 minutes to an hour and a half of anything you want to do in the Orlando area. It was a good place for family but I can also see some guys going there for a boys weekend out—which me may do in the future.

Jack Nicklaus once said, “I never went into a tournament or round of golf thinking I had to beat a certain player. I had to beat the golf course.” Yes, beat the golf course. It’s a simple, reoccurring phrase many choose to toss around, unlike Nicklaus, as some philosophical one-liner, showcasing the depth of their mental aptitude. The command is straightforward: scope the land, see the shot and execute.
It’s difficult to describe how impressed I was by Liberty National. I got to play the kind of golf course I dreamed of as kid. Every single detail was taken into account so that my experience was extraordinary. The views of the New York City Skyline from the course and clubhouse are spectacular. The clubhouse cuisine rivals any top restaurant in the country and the amenities are to die for. The locker room is just phenomenal and the steam room is almost a football field in length.
