No question about it: 2006 was a tough year for Dell. The company’s voluntary recall of malfunctioning batteries left a sour taste in the mouths of even the most diehard Dell aficionados. Amidst the entire hullabaloo, however, one of the most innovative PCs the company has released in recent memory didn’t quite receive its just deserts. True multi-media connoisseurs overlook the XPS M2010 at their own peril. This portable powerhouse features a massive 20.1 inch screen, a detachable Bluetooth wireless keyboard and a remote control with gyroscopic mouse control that allows you to point and click with precision from anywhere in the room. A perfect tool for that on-the-go big money presentation, the XPS sports ATI Mobility Radeon graphics, eight integrated 4-ohm speakers and a 12-ohm subwoofer— resulting in an audio/visual experience sure to keep any onlooker glued to the edge of his seat. When you’re done blowing away the boardroom, simply fold the sleek shell shut, grab the anodized aluminum handle and hit the road.

For the 2006 holiday season, the Danish techno-provider is offering products to make your cell phone use more convenient and a touch more elegant. The Serene mobile phone and the EarSet 2 wireless Bluetooth headset are sold separately, but work beautifully together. The Serene was designed with all the necessary functions of a cell phone, including MMS, SMS, email, calendar WAP, and a built-in camera. What makes it unique is its simple design and unusual display and operation. It has a thumb-operated wheel and a circular keyboard that surrounds it. Serene is also the only mobile phone model in which the display is in the lower shell, while the keyboard is in the upper.

Customers can add to the sleek, high quality experience of the Serene with the EarSet 2, a Bluetooth headset which offers unmatched sound quality due to its two omni-directional microphones (which block wind noise and filter all exterior sounds) and advanced digital signal processing. With this advanced design, the headset creates the experience of a face-to-face conversation. The EarSet 2 is easy to operate, turning on when the short microphone arm is folded out and powering down when it is folded in. When not in use, it can be stored and carried in a case which also serves as a charger.
